Prior to founding The Baxley Group 13 years ago, Jim spent 12 years at successful organizations such as Verity, Extricity, Autonomy[HP] and Stratify [Iron Mountain] in a variety of roles and responsibilities from managing major accounts to overseeing regional sales activities. During his sales career Jim achieved great individual success that in turn proved to be extremely beneficial to his employers. Jim was the first sales executive hired at Extricity and Stratify and was responsible for securing the first customer wins with major accounts like IBM, NASA and AMD. In addition, Jim closed and managed business with accounts such as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent, Cisco, Intel and McGraw-Hill.

Jim is a Co-Founder and Board Member of both Annuity Systems Inc. and Alarm Program Systems LLC.

Jim graduated with a Bachelors degree in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley.
